Our approach to sustainability is underpinned by robust governance. Alongside a clear oversight and management structure to facilitate ownership and accountability, we have a range of systems, processes and policies to monitor our performance.

Corporate governance

Consistent with our shared values and purpose, we are committed to governance practices; we act legally, fairly, responsibly and honestly in all our business dealings. An example of this is our adherence to the EMCOR Group, Inc., Code of Conduct and Business Ethics and its Global Anti-Corruption Policies.

Supply chain engagement

We recognise the broad impact that our supply chain has on the workplace and that our responsibilities extend beyond our own operations and into those of our partners. We seek partners who share our vision to create a better world at work. Our approach follows ISO 20400:2017, the Sustainable Procurement standard, and ISO 44001, the Collaborative Business Relationship Management standard. We were the first FM company to successfully complete the ISO 20400 assessment.
