About Jonathan

Jonathan is our Executive Director of Safety, Quality and Risk. He is responsible for the development and application of our organisational strategy for occupational health and safety, risk assurance, quality, and business continuity.

Jonathan joined EMCOR UK in 2011 as Operations Director at one of our long-standing manufacturing customers and now sits on our Executive Leadership Team.

Starting his working life in Airline Quality Assurance, he moved into Facilities Management becoming Managing Director for the catering arm of a facilities provider in London and the Southeast. Jonathan holds master's degrees in both Behaviour Change (MSc) and Health Research (MA) and is a Fellow of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM), receiving the President's commendation for his contribution to risk and safety management in 2023. He is also a Director at the Society of Occupational Medicine (SOM) and the British Safety Council (BSC), as well as being Chair for charity MIND Workplace Mental Health Council.

Jonathan is passionate about creating conditions which enable our teams to be the best they can be in a physically and psychologically safe workplace that supports them to create a better world at work for our customers.
