James joined EMCOR UK in 2000 and is our Chief Technology Officer on our Executive Leadership Team. James is responsible for our Insight Intelligence Service which is powered by our One Data World platform, and the knowledge of our expert teams to turn data into actionable insights – helping to ensure efficient, compliant, and sustainable operations for smarter, future-ready workplaces.

James has over 28 years of experience as an IT leader developing and deploying solutions for Engineering and Facilities Management companies, offering decades of experience in data science and software development to create tailored solutions for our customers.

He has a deep understanding of information security controls and governance, making sure our solutions comply with rigorous standards like ISO27001, ISO22301 and Cyber Essentials Plus. This expertise has enabled EMCOR UK to securely deploy solutions in highly regulated customer environments.

James is passionate about optimising our customers' facilities through the strategic use of technology and data analytics, balancing employee experience, business performance and cost.
