EMCOR UK, the facilities management provider, today announced it has secured an eight-year contract to support the BAE Systems Typhoon Total Availability eNterprise (TyTAN) contract. The contract began in April 2018 and sees EMCOR UK supporting BAE Systems and the Military of Defence (MOD) with facilities management across Royal Air Force (RAF) Coningsby and RAF Lossiemouth. EMCOR UK has been delivering facility management services to RAF Coningsby since 2006 where the Typhoon fleet are ready to deliver Quick Reaction Alert (QRA) 24/7 across UK airspace.
EMCOR UK will be responsible for providing hard and soft facilities management services, including mechanical and electrical maintenance, cleaning, ground works, fabric protection, CAD and project works. It will also be implementing service aspects that will cover the Typhoon Maintenance Facility (TMF), Typhoon Support Centre (TSC), Typhoon Training Facility (TTF) and Typhoon Management Operations Centre (TMOC).The TyTAN contract sees BAE Systems, Defence Equipment and Support (DE&S), and the RAF supporting the UK Typhoon fleet at RAF Coningsby and RAF Lossiemouth.
