Leading facilities management provider EMCOR UK is delighted to announce it has been awarded a new contract by Hampshire County Council that extends the maintenance services EMCOR UK has been providing for 20+ years. The contract is to provide comprehensive maintenance services for 620+ diverse buildings across West Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, for a duration of five years with an option to extend for five years, and commenced 1 August 2017.

EMCOR UK will be responsible for a wide range of collaborative work with Hampshire County Council, performing planned and reactive maintenance services on its diverse portfolio of properties including offices, schools, residential care and nursing care homes, museums, recreational centres, and fire and police stations. The scope of maintenance work includes all mechanical plant, electrical power distribution and lighting systems, catering equipment, water treatment, swimming pools, and fire and security systems.

To manage the maintenance of such a complex portfolio of properties, EMCOR UK will deploy its bespoke management application (app) for engineers to use on their mobile phones or tablets. We have had a productive and collaborative working relationship with Hampshire County Council for over twenty years and look forward to continuing to deliver outstanding customer service. Central to securing this contract has been the focus and track record we have on health and safety and our ability to provide high quality services. All of these we know to be very important to Hampshire County Council, as well as the need to provide value for money to the residents of the county.”
