Leading facilities management provider EMCOR UK is delighted to announce it was recently presented its fourth RoSPA Gold Award since 2013 for its work with British Sugar. The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Gold Award recognises a very high level of performance, demonstrating well developed occupational health and safety management systems and culture, outstanding control of risk and very low levels of error, harm and loss. EMCOR UK’s work with British Sugar covers four factories in the East of England, located in Newark, Bury St Edmunds, Wissington and Cantley.
The RoSPA Gold Award presented to EMCOR UK adds to the six health and safety awards previously received by the company in 2017. Four of these were for work with its customers Public Health England (PHE), Thames Water, BAE Systems, and United Utilities. The other awards were a Gold Medal Award in RoSPA’s annual scheme, and the 2017 International Safety Award from the British Safety Council, both in recognition of the company achieving a high level of performance in health and safety management.
Keith Chanter, CEO, EMCOR UK, commented: “EMCOR UK is delighted to receive the RoSPA Gold Award recognising for the fourth time since 2013 its work with British Sugar. Health and safety is one of the company’s core values; we are gratified to be honoured with this prestigious award.”
